Privacy Policy

Last updated August 24, 2026

This policy explains what personal data RR Tracker collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what control you have over it. It applies to rrtracker.xyz and to the RR Tracker Discord bot. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1.What we collect

From your Riot Games account, when you sign in:

  • your Riot account identifiers (PUUID) and your Riot ID, meaning your game name and tag line;
  • your player card images, account level, and region;
  • your email address, where Riot provides it;
  • the access and refresh tokens issued by Riot, which let us keep you signed in. We never see or store your Riot password.

About your competitive play, for as long as you are on a leaderboard:

  • your current rank and RR, your peak rank, and your wins, losses and draws for the act;
  • for each tracked match: the date, the map, the agent you played, your kills, deaths and assists, your combat score, your RR change, your rank afterwards, the result, and whether you were match or team MVP.

If you connect the Discord bot, we store the identifiers of the Discord server and channel, and of the user who connected it.

If you subscribe, we store your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, your subscription status and period, and your payment history: amount, currency, status and date. We never receive your card details — they go directly to Stripe.

Our servers also keep technical logs, which may include your IP address and the time of your requests. We use them to operate the service, investigate faults, and detect abuse.

2.Where the data comes from

Most of it does not come from you directly. We obtain your competitive data from Riot Games' API and from a third-party service that relays it, by sending them your player identifiers. Billing data comes from Stripe, and Discord data from Discord.

3.Why we use it, and on what basis

  • To provide the service — building your leaderboard, tracking matches, posting Discord notifications and daily recaps. This is necessary to perform our contract with you.
  • To take payment and manage your subscription. Necessary to perform our contract, and to meet our accounting obligations.
  • To keep the service working and secure — debugging, rate limiting, preventing abuse. This rests on our legitimate interest in running a reliable service, balanced against your rights.

We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles.

4.Who we share it with

  • Riot Games and the third-party service relaying its API, to retrieve your competitive data.
  • Stripe, to process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • Discord, where you have connected the bot, to deliver its messages.
  • Our hosting provider, which stores the database on our behalf.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it. Some of these providers operate outside the European Union; where they do, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

5.What other people can see

A leaderboard is shared by design. Every member sees the Riot ID, rank, RR, recent form and match results of every other member.

If the leaderboard is connected to a Discord channel, the bot posts your match results there as they happen, along with a daily recap. Anyone who can read that channel can read those messages, and Discord retains them under its own policy — we cannot delete them once posted. Consider that before joining a leaderboard connected to a server you do not control.

6.How long we keep it

  • Your account and competitive data: for as long as your account exists. Delete your account and it goes with it, along with the leaderboards you own and their match records.
  • Match records for a leaderboard you left: deleted with that leaderboard, or earlier on request.
  • Payment records: kept for the period our accounting and tax obligations require, which is longer than the life of your account.
  • Technical logs: kept for a short period, then deleted.

7.Cookies and browser storage

We use no advertising cookies, no analytics, and no third-party trackers. When you sign in, your browser stores a session token and your basic profile in local storage, which is what keeps you signed in between visits. Signing out removes both.

8.Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, and receive it in a portable format. You can also object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interest.

You can delete your account yourself, at any time, from your account page. This erases your Riot connection and the tokens attached to it, your player profiles, and the leaderboards you own.

Contact us to exercise any of these. We reply within one month. If you are not satisfied, you may lodge a complaint with your data protection authority — in France, the CNIL.

9.Children

The service is not intended for children under 15, or under the age of digital consent in your country. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. For a substantial change we will give notice before it takes effect, by email or in the service, and update the date at the top of this page.

11.Contact

For any question about this policy, or to exercise your rights, contact us through the RR Tracker website.
